Classes for the Palatka campus nursing assistant program will begin on Feb. 23 and will be held on Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through March 30, and Wednesday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 4, 5 and 6.

Clinicals will be held from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 9 through 13.

The program entails seven weeks of course work, lab hours and clinical work. Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to apply for the Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) examination.

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. Applicants must also complete an application to SJR State College and pay the application fee prior to registration. Applicants should also complete the residency affidavit and turn in acceptable forms of identification.
